Είπατε τω βασιλεί χαμαί πέσε δαίδαλος αυλά.
Ουκέτι Φοίβος
έχει καλύβην, ου μάντιδα δάφνιν, ου παγάν λαλέουσαν·
απέσβετο και λάλον ύδωρ.
Tell the
king that the sophisticated hall has fallen to the ground.
Phoibos no longer has his
house, nor his mantic bay, nor his talking spring;
the talking water has dried up.
